How long is the wait to get an appointment?
Typically we can provide you with an appointment within a week. Emergencies will be seen that day as our office maintains same day appointments for those with immediate needs.

Now that I have an appointment, how long will I have to wait once I arrive at my scheduled time?
At Foxx Dental Care we make every effort to run on time. We value your time and make every effort to have you in and out in an efficient timely manner.

Tell me about the doctor? How long has he been in practice?
Dr. Foxx has been in practice 27 yrs & it's a family practice so we see both children and adults.

Do you accept Insurance?
Yes, we accept coverage from most insurance providers. However the amount of coverage can be a bit complicated, depending on which provider and plan you are part of. We recommend calling the office to discuss the specifics of your coverage so there are no surprises during your visit.

I don't have dental insurance. How much can I expect to pay on my first visit?
The cost of your first visit will depend on which services you are in need of. Please call the office to discuss your specific situation and we will be happy to provide you with an approximate quote, as well as discuss our convenient payment plans.

Do you see children as well as adults?
Absolutely, we typically start seeing children as clients as early as the of three.

How long does a new patient appointment with a cleaning last?
At your first visit expect a comprehensive exam, x-rays and consult with the doctor to talk about any diagnosis or treatments you may need. In most cases our Hygiene staff will complete your cleaning requirements at that appointment. From start to finish this process lasts approximately one and a half hours.

I'm a bit afraid of going to the dentist. What do you do for nervous patients?
It's not unusual that patients have anxiety over dental care. While careful explanations prior to treatment can lessen fears, there are several other options for patients to reduce anxiety for treatment, hypnosis, acupuncture, medication and nitrous oxide ( laughing gas) are all the tools at our disposal.

What patient forms need to be filed out? Can I get them ahead of time?
As for the new patient forms you have two options. You can download the form from this website and bring it in with you or fill it out when you arrive for your appointment. We only require a very short one-page form of a medical history for you to fill out so whatever works best for you is fine with us.
